IMAGES FOR SALE

A really long time ago, back in the 1970s when I was working at Hipgnosis, and with Gen, Cosey & Chris with COUM and Throbbing Gristle, I used to take pictures, often with my friend John Harwood, mainly for fun.

Quite a few are of posed suicide or torture scenes, way before anyone had heard of Cindy Sherman, Joel Peter Witkin, Arthur Tress and the rest – not that I would compare these to their work!

The negatives have remained in storage for 30 years until I decided to have a look at them, on a recent visit to my Archive in the U.K.

Here is the first in a Series of new Editions I have decided to make, a Set of Six Triptyches, that I will be selling only as a Set. They are modern, digital Archival Quality prints, obviously, but of images of a very bygone era.

It was Paul Smith who first suggested I make Art Prints of the Black Light District sleeve images. That was about 10 years ago, so it hasn’t taken too long!

As soon as the Store is open you will be able to buy a Set of these 3 images, hand-printed on Archival Paper, about 1 foot square each, in frames. Prints made here under my supervision will carry a signed holographic Certificate of Provenance.

We also hope to offer an economical download service, so you can make your own prints if you want.

The Store is HERE.
